Sending a payment link
GetClinic integrates with Stripe to allow you to send secure payment links directly to patients. Patients can pay by card without needing a GetClinic account.
How to send a payment link
- Go to Payments in the left navigation
- Click + Send Payment Link
- Select the patient
- Enter the amount and a description (e.g. "Consultation fee — 25 April 2026")
- Click Send
The patient receives an email with a secure Stripe payment link. Once paid, the invoice status updates to PAID automatically.
Invoice statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| DRAFT | Created but not yet sent to the patient |
| SENT | Payment link sent, awaiting payment |
| PAID | Payment received via Stripe |
| OVERDUE | Payment not received within the due period |
| CANCELLED | Invoice cancelled |
Viewing all invoices
The Payments page lists all invoices with patient name, amount, status, and date. You can filter by status.
