1. Our Commitment

Intellicons Technology Ltd is committed to making the GetClinic platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as set out in the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This accessibility statement applies to the GetClinic web application and website at getclinic.io.

2. How Accessible Is GetClinic?

We are actively working to improve accessibility across the platform. Our current status:

  • All pages use semantic HTML elements where appropriate
  • Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements for text content
  • Forms include descriptive labels and error messages
  • Interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • The platform is designed to be compatible with modern screen readers
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality

3. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved. We are working to address these:

  • Some complex data tables in the clinical dashboard may not have full screen reader support
  • Some PDF prescription documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers — we are working on tagged PDF output
  • Some modal dialogs may not correctly trap focus on all browsers

4. Technical Specification

GetClinic is built with the following technologies, each of which has implications for accessibility:

  • Next.js (React) — server-side rendered and client-side navigated pages
  • ARIA attributes — used for dynamic content regions and interactive widgets
  • CSS custom properties — used for consistent theming and colour contrast

We test for accessibility using:

  • Manual keyboard navigation testing
  • Colour contrast analysis tools
  • Browser developer tools accessibility audits

5. Disproportionate Burden

We have not made any claims of disproportionate burden at this time. We are committed to making the full platform accessible.

If you cannot access part of GetClinic, or need the content in a different format, please contact us:

  • We will acknowledge your request within 3 working days and aim to provide the information in an accessible format within 10 working days.
